he South Asia Council for
Community & Children in Crisis (SAC-CCC) was founded with a commitment to the cause of
equipping, facilitating, and rehabilitating children and communities in crisis situations
to lead a fuller, more joyous life.
As a registered social service organization, the
SAC-CCC from its inception in 1993 has taken up programs in three broad based areas care,
education, and rehabilitation. In pursuit of these three areas, the SAC-CCC has been
carrying out programs successfully for the street and working children, the disabled
children and youth, the socially deprived women and children with special emphasis on the
girl child and the marginalized communities to help themselves. Health care delivery
systems to the disadvantaged rural and slum communities are given priority by SAC-CCC.
These services are offered without distinction to religion, caste, and nationality. The
deprivation of and injustice meted out to other fellow humans have motivated the SAC-CCC
to initiate programs to care, educate, and rehabilitate children and communities. |
